The 2010 FIFA World Cup promises thousands of soccer fans from around the world an unforgettable soccer experience. Ten stadiums are readying for action and the 9 host cities are upgrading infrastructure to ensure smooth running of the soccer spectacular. Tickets are already selling fast.

The 2010 FIFA World Cup  will be the 19th FIFA World Cup tournament hosted to date. It marks the first time the tournament will be hosted by an African nation. This exciting event will take place from 11 June to 11 July 2010.

Ten stadiums in 9 host cities were chosen:

2 Free State Stadium - Mangaung/Bloemfontein
3 Green Point Stadium - Cape Town
4 Moses Mabhida - Durban
5 Mbombela Stadium - Nelspruit
6 Peter Mokaba Stadium - Polokwane
7 Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium - Port Elizabeth
8 Loftus Verfeld Stadium - Tshwane/Pretoria
9 Royal Bafokeng Stadium - Rustenburg
